Interview Process

Applicants are chosen for interviews based on several criteria: full completion of application, skills and experience relevant to job, salary desired, work history, professonial references, etc. You do not have to have previous work history to be considered for most of our seasonal positions.

Prior to an interview, you may be contacted to provide additional information.

If you are chosen for an interview, your first interview could be over the phone.

If you are selected for a second interview, you will probably be asked to come to the Park and interview in person. This interview may consist of meeting with one or more hiring managers. Interviews may be individual or group interviews in which multiple applicants are interviewed at once.

Further interviews are typically conducted for leadership and full-time positions.

The interview process may take up to four weeks from the date of application to final selection.

Make sure to check your email regularly, that is the primary means of communication once your profile has been reviewed.


Certain positions in the operations and guest facing areas will be required to participate in an audition process. During this process, we are assessing/evaluating the candidate's ability to be customer oriented, think critically, be creative, have high energy and deliver Fun at Heart moments.


Skilled positions such as those in Zoological Operations, Ride Maintenance and certain Leadership positions require a job shadow as part of the interview process. This allows the applicant to have a "real time" experience and observe the team in action.
